Innocent Assoman has more than four years of experience in youth empowerment and community development. Currently, Innocent is project manager at the Adei Institute of Technology, in Côte d’Ivoire, where he focuses on project and program design, stakeholder management, and monitoring and evaluation of projects. Innocent plays an active role in his community as a volunteer. He founded LEAD+AFRICA in 2018, an organization aimed at promoting high-quality education and providing students with innovative entrepreneurship techniques and opportunities to contribute to the development of their communities. Innocent holds a master’s degree in English Linguistics and a bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Management. A 2019 Mandela Washington Fellow, Innocent is committed to providing equal opportunities for young people in his community. He credits the Fellowship with enhancing his personal growth as a leader and with giving him the unique opportunity to develop a lasting network of like-minded African leaders.
